Product introduction
The FLAW HUNTER SLP 9503 is an offline system used for seamless pipes flaw detection and thickness measuring.
The system is equipped with 32 immersion 5 MHz probes and designed to detect reference defects of international seamless pipe standards such as API5CT, API 5L. For seamless pipes, usually a hole with a diameter of 3.2 or 1.6 mm or four longitudinal and transverse grooves N12.5, N10, N5 is provided on the inside and outside of the pipe.
Due to the high sensitivity of the test and the rough surface condition of the seamless pipes due to heat treatment, the test is applied by immersion technique and Bubbler method. In this technique, the probes are completely arranged in the water tank and part of the test tube body is rotated in contact with the water surface surrounding the probes.
