Product introduction
It is a semi-automatic ultrasonic five-channel rails testing system designed for internal and in-depth defects of Head, Web and Base sections of rails.
The system is capable of delivering accurate color and C scan and B scan images.
The scan is performed by the operator using a trolley equipped with rail wheels and Interpretation and evaluation of the results are simple.
The probes of this machine are as follows:
- Two angular probes 70 ° facing each other with a frequency of 2 MHz to detect transverse defects in the crown of the head
- Two angular probes of 45 ° facing each other with a frequency of 2 MHz to identify angular defects in the Web and Hole Branch Cracks
- A 0 ° angular normal probe with a frequency of 2 MHz, to detect parallel flaws, cracks around the rail holes and base rail corrosion.
All probes are fitted with a special shoes mounted on a spring-loaded head to compensate for oscillations on the rail surface.
